Newly Developed Scalloped Bracing
The latest series of the FSX range offers a richer sound with better projection (particularly in the low to mid range) thanks to cutting-edge acoustic analysis techniques developed by our Guitar Research team, where a mix of real-world trials and detailed computer-based modelling and simulation are used to determine the optimum bracing positions, negating the need for guesswork.
This analysis led to the development of the FSX Series' new scalloped bracing pattern; a new and ideal acoustic structure that maintains the durability of the top board while allowing the FSX guitar's sound to shine.
Over 50 Years of Guitar Making
The FG and FS story began in 1966 with the release of the seminal FG180 and FG150. Over the 50 years since their introduction, we've developed and crafted several generations of FS guitars - all of which have reinforced the FS Series' position as the ideal acoustic and electro-acoustic for contemporary players.
Painstaking Craftsmanship
Every aspect of the FSX800C has been crafted to create the best guitar possible. From carefully its cured and dried tonewoods to its stunning hand-sprayed finish, the FSX800C is made to be a lifelong partner.
Pickup System
The System66 electro-acoustic system features a proprietary under-saddle piezo pickup. Controls include a 3-band EQ, an adjustable mid-range frequency control and a precision chromatic tuner. The system is powered by regular AA batteries.
